* The chalk panels were typically filled in with participants' drawing within a few hours of us cleaning them. Often people would come and start drawing while we were still cleaning.

* People loved that we came and cleaned the panels each day. It was the only shiny, clean dust-free surface they'd seen since they arrived on playa.

* When clean, the slightly warped plexi also created a hall-of-mirrors type effect, where people would look and laugh at their distorted reflections and pose for photos.

* People also interacted with the layer of dust on the plexi, wiping some parts and creating designs in the dust.
